Federal Recycling & Waste Solutions is a privately owned, independent recycling company headquartered in St. Louis, MO. We provide forward-thinking recycling and waste management services that help businesses build more profitable, efficient and sustainable operations.
Our History
For 100+ years, we have helped businesses recycle their waste with no disruption so they can do what they do best: grow their companies. We provide not only competitive pricing and seamless service, but empower our customers to lead the way in Where Green is Going by continually partnering with them on ways to recycle more waste and reduce their environmental footprint for the greater good now and in the future.
Through the Years
Federal International is founded by two families as a paper and textile recycler
Federal International continues thriving during the post WWI, Great Depression & WWII eras
The company begins trading polyurethane foam in the U.S. in 1959 and in Europe in 1963. Federal International establishes the company Agglorex in Belgium in 1972 to manufacture its excess polyurethane trim into rebond foam.
Federal International acquires what is now sister company Federal Foam Technologies
Federal International acquires recycling plants in Missouri and Texas
Federal International celebrates 100 years in business
- Federal International becomes two entities, parent company Federal International, Inc. and business unit Federal International Recycling & Waste Solutions
- Federal International Recycling acquires a recycling plant in Denver, CO
Federal International Recycling acquires a recycling plant in Columbus, GA
Federal International Recycling rebrands as Federal Recycling & Waste Solutions to further distinguish from its parent company
Federal Recycling acquires a recycling plant in Harrisburg, PA
